One of Fifth Harmony Girls, Camila Cabello on cyber bullying & Reflection is named top album!
The Fifth Harmony girls have revealed that they try to take a practical look at cyber bullying when it affects them and avoid taking comments and insult personally when they can.
The girls have become targets for online trolls ever since they shot to fame on X Factor USA a few years ago and have faced death threats from time to time and petty jibes on a daily basis.
The Worth It stunners try not to let haters get under their skin with the tweets and Facebook posts though and distance themselves from the negativity when they can. Speaking to Sugarscape during her London trip recently, Camila Cabello explained:
“I think it kind of depends on your personality type, but for all of us… we’re all emotional people and so it’s not very easy to look at something and brush it off – it stays with you. I mean, I personally just ignore it because I know I can’t put myself through that.”
Lauren Jauregui tries to remember that the people don’t actually know her, so are absing their assumptions and comments on a perceived version of her. She added: “They don’t know you personally so don’t take it personal.”
Meanwhile, it has been revealed that Fifth Harmony debut album ‘Reflection’ has been named one of the best 45 albums of 2015 so far.
Music Magazine Rolling Stone gushed over the girls’ songs and recordings saying:
“On the debut from Fifth Harmony (which formed during the second season of ‘The X Factor’, in 2012), high self-esteem feels like a party. Infectious lyrics like “Think I’m in love, ’cause you so sexy/Boy, I ain’t talkin’ ’bout you, I’m talkin’ to my own reflection” complement club-ready beats that leave no room for saccharine ballads.”
The girls are more than chuffed with the news and took to Twitter last night to thank fans, saying: “No freakin’ way. @rollingstone named Reflection one of the top 45 albums of 2015 so far. THANK YOU!!”
